About

As a Geographer, you'll be involved with the study of landforms, soils, vegetation, animal habitats, climatic and climate conditions. You will look at approximately earth’s natural surroundings and its relationships with human societies, animals and plants. You will examine political, cultural and social norms of human beings and the way they're associated with the geography of the land. You will study the population and their features (human or animal) of an area on a worldwide or neighborhood level. You will use gear and strategies including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and on-line mapping such as Google Earth.
