About

Bioinformatics is the application of computer science to the management of biological data which is acquired, stored, organized and analyzed. Bioinformatics relies heavily on statistical methods. Biometrics has two major roles: developing IT tools using novel algorithms or applying existing tools to achieve new insights in molecular biology in testing, documentation, database administration, programming and scientific visualization.
